With 23 years’ experience in corporate travel, Angela has seen it all and continues to take advantage of modern technology to successfully arrange your travel plans anywhere in the world. Within this career span, 8 years were devoted to operating as a successful self-employed agent. It is a breath of fresh air to meet a travel expert and devotee such as Angela, who can offer such reliable expertise, a rare occurrence in the business today.
Angela has broadened her skills by acting as a guide on Wellness vacations, attending boot camps, remaining physically fit through spinning classes and enjoying home life with her hubby and precious pet dogs.
As a Traveller…
Angela still remembers that, at the tender age of 8, she never liked to stay in the same place, realizing that there was a whole world out there to explore. She would go on to encounter the layers of history and adventures to be experienced in continental Europe, then fall in love with it. Not to mention other such attractions and pleasures as the warm, temperate oceans of the Caribbean islands and the refreshing friendliness and simplicity of their inhabitants.
As a believer that every destination, be it world-famous or remotely adventurous, has something to offer, Angela thrives on hearing of your travel dreams and expectations, then being able to meet the challenges of facilitating the process of getting there. Biagina “Laura” DiFazio
Having always dreamed of travelling to far-away lands such as Israel, Australia and India, and banking on her 7 years’ experience in massage and body care, Biagina “Laura” Difazio was ready to leave her native Italy at age 23 and embark on a fascinating life journey!
Making her way to England and landing employment as a massage therapist at the chic, world-famous Harrods establishment, Biagina would spend her 2 first years abroad picking up the language while perfecting her skills. She then devoted the next 2 years to working as a massage therapist on the beaches of Barcelona, Spain.
At age 28, fascinated with taking in a “Canadian winter”, Biagina made her way to Canada. There, she would meet Francesco, the man who would become her future husband. Although she had intended to continue her travels after seeing Canada, this chance meeting with Frank would change her plans!
She would stay in Canada, get married, start her own massage therapy business and eventually have a child. Although she now called Canada home, she faithfully returned to Italy every year to visit her family and friends. On one of her more recent trips, quite by chance, Biagina would discover the healing mud baths of Vulcano.
After visiting her husband’s family in San Piero Patti on mainland Italy, she convinced Frank to visit the Aeolian Islands of Sicily before returning home. Be it coincidence or destiny, Biagina would break out at the very same time in a terrible skin rash thought to be caused by a sun allergy. As fate would have it, she was taken to the healing mud baths of Vulcano by some locals, and 2 days later her skin had completely cleared up. She was so moved by this experience that she felt she had to share this discovery with others.
Immediately upon her return, she couldn’t wait to tell her travel-agent friend Angela about her experience, as ideas percolated simultaneously in her head. It was a propitious moment when Biagina shared with Angela the unique concept of gathering groups of people and taking them on wellness trips to Vulcano. The desire turned into reality when these two women joined forces soon after to create beautiful, packaged Wellness Tours to this natural wonder.
Today, Biagina lives and works in Hudson, Québec where she continues to practice massage therapy and body care. The inspiration to create and offer Wellness Tours to the public is a testimony to Biagina DiFazio’s life-long and instinctive talent for caring for others.
